The programme will be delivered through blended learning, beginning with a face-to-face training day, followed by online sessions. Regional support will also be available if required to help complete the qualification.
Effective mentoring plays a vital role in developing confident, capable staff. It supports improved performance, enhances communication and problem-solving skills, and helps create a positive workplace culture. Mentors not only guide colleagues through challenges but also encourage growth, career development and long-term retention—making it a valuable skillset for both individuals and organisations.
We are now accepting enrolments, and the delivery dates are as follows:
Course Dates:
Session 1: 16th September – The National Stud, 10:00–3pm
Session 2-6:- delivered online
This qualification is ideal for staff currently mentoring or supervising others, as well as those aspiring to take on such responsibilities in the future.
As part of our pilot scheme, the course cost will be £55, which covers registration fees. The remaining costs will be funded through the RSDP programme.
